The Wild Darkness is a survival RPG with isometric perspective. Here, you play a mysterious character who wakes up in the middle of a forest without his memory ... or anything else, for that matter. Your goal is to survive and gradually recover your strength and memory.
The controls in The Wild Darkness are perfectly adapted for touchscreens. To move your character, you just have to touch anywhere on the screen. Likewise, to interact with the elements in the setting, you just have to tap on them. This is how you'll be able to chop down trees, pick objects up off the ground, or fight against enemies. From the inventory, you can use or easily equip your character with any object.
When the adventure begins, you don't have anything and you're in the middle of a forest, so you're pretty much helpless. However, you'll soon be able to start creating all sorts of tools like axes to cut down tress or torches to protect you from the darkness. When night falls, you'll also have to build a good fire since with the darkness comes very dangerous monsters.
The Wild Darkness is an excellent survival game that requires you to worry about more than just enemies; you also have to worry about hunger, thirst, and exhaustion. Survival won't come easy, but with a little skill and experience, you can do it.
